What happens
George and Gracie return home after a party and begin to bicker about how he has stopped treating her with romance since they married. Gracie asks George to recapture their courtship by asking her out on a date, and he agrees. Their evening takes them to a movie, an ice cream parlor where old acquaintances complicate things, and a late walk through the park. The Burns and Allen Show is a long-running comedy series on CBS and NBC Radio, and this episode first aired on October 6, 1942, with Gracie Allen and Bea Benaderet among its performers. Along the way the couple revisit memories of their first meetings and trade jokes about the evening's pretenses.
The Burns home and the town around it, including a movie theater, an ice cream parlor, and a park at night.

Listen for: George and Gracie planning their pretend date, and the long bantering sequence at the ice cream parlor.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
