What happens

George Burns and Gracie Allen host their final broadcast for the Heinz Honey and Almond Cream program on CBS, before moving to a new sponsor. Gracie, George, Frank Parker, Ray Noble and Truman Bradley share sentimental farewells, reminiscing about their time together and the lighthearted moments of the show. Gracie recounts a Red Cross broadcast with Edward G. Robinson and her evening with him afterward. The cast trades jokes about the program's past, then a parade of new hires is auditioned, including Felix, a new singer, and Randolph Clark, a society bandleader. Farewell gifts and goodbyes follow, and the episode closes with a commercial for the sponsor's lotion.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
