What happens
Ida Lupino plays a dramatic actress who is preparing for a role as a scatterbrained housewife and visits Gracie Allen to study her. Gracie cheerfully offers advice on marriage, starting with a muddled lesson on birds and bees. Her husband George Burns soon becomes the subject of the lesson, and a series of comic scenes follows at the couple's home. Bill Goodwin also stops by with his own advice. The episode is from the Burns and Allen series, broadcast on December 7, 1943, with Gracie Allen, Bea Benaderet, Meredith Willson and Mel Blanc in the cast.

Listen for: Gracie's muddled birds-and-bees lesson for Ida Lupino, and George's attempt at a singing audition after drinking cough medicine
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
