What happens
George Burns and Gracie Allen star in this 1944 episode of their radio comedy, with guest Brian Aherne. Gracie's women's club takes over the Burns kitchen to plan a fundraiser, and George grows impatient as breakfast goes missing. The club members hit on the idea of auctioning off a pair of shorts belonging to visiting actor Brian Aherne, but the shorts are soon in dispute. Aherne arrives to reclaim them, and a confusion about babies and a plan for a club play follow. The episode is broadcast on CBS and NBC Radio and aired on March 28, 1944.
