George Burns runs for second assistant substitute city councilman from the third district, and Gracie Allen takes charge of his campaign. Gracie visits the neighbor Ray Milan to win him over. The episode is part of the Burns and Allen radio series, first broadcast on May 9, 1944, on CBS and NBC Radio, with Gracie Allen and George Burns in the leading roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
