What happens

Gracie tries a series of remedies, while the postman drops in with stories of his own holiday. The episode is a light domestic comedy of misunderstandings, with Meredith Willson and Bill Goodwin joining the household in a series of sketches. It is the Burns and Allen series, broadcast on September 5, 1946, with George Burns, Gracie Allen, Bea Benaderet and Mel Blanc in the cast.
The Burns home, and the Pine Lake in the Pines resort where George goes on vacation

Listen for: Gracie's attempts to cure George's supposed allergy, and the mix-up over his sneezing
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
