What happens
Gracie Allen and George Burns are at odds over their boarder, Meredith Willson, whose constant jokes wear on George. Their friend Bill Goodwin is drawn into the argument, and Gracie takes in another overnight guest, Kay Kaiser, who needs a place to sleep. The episode is from the Burns and Allen series, originally aired on January 24, 1946, with Gracie Allen, Bea Benaderet, Meredith Willson and Mel Blanc in the cast.

Characters: George Burns, Gracie Allen, Meredith Willson, Bill Goodwin, Kay Kaiser
Listen for: George's growing frustration with Meredith's jokes and Gracie's efforts to avoid asking him to leave
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
