What happens
Gracie Allen decides to hypnotize her husband George Burns, hoping to turn him into the romantic Charles Boyer after she and her friend Blanche Morton admire Boyer in a film. Her neighbor Bill Goodwin is unimpressed by the scheme, and Meredith Willson, who has her hypnotism book, offers his own advice. Gracie tries out her technique on George at breakfast, and the results are not what she expects. This episode is part of the Burns and Allen radio series, first broadcast on January 31, 1946, on CBS and NBC, with Gracie Allen and George Burns in the lead roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
