What happens
George Burns and Gracie Allen are deciding where to spend their summer vacation. George suggests the Indianapolis auto race, but Gracie's confused reasoning goes nowhere, and their search through a muddled filing system for the car keys runs into the same trouble. Meredith Willson drops by with a tall tale about a lake in Iowa, and the couple then visits a travel bureau where the clerk insists on reciting his script in order. Their plans keep shifting between lakes, relatives and a nudist camp suggestion. This 1947 episode of Burns and Allen aired on CBS and NBC Radio, and the lead actors are Gracie Allen, Bea Benaderet, Meredith Willson and Mel Blanc. The episode ends with the couple's final broadcast of the season and their summer plans.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
