A young graduate student named Miss Deli discovered the body when she came home from a party, and Clover must uncover what made the seemingly ordinary milkman a target for violence.

Broadway and various New York locations including a dairy, Staten Island, and the apartment building where Raymond Grant is killed

Characters: Detective Danny Clover, Miss Deli, Mr. Perry (dairy foreman), Mrs. Grant (Raymond's wife)

Listen for: The poetic, noir-influenced narration describing the winter setting and the investigation as Clover interviews witnesses and travels to confront Mrs. Grant about her husband's mysterious behavior and hidden income

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
