Detective Danny Clover investigates the death of Lona Hanson, a young woman found beaten and stabbed in Spanish Harlem. She attended a boxing match the previous night, became infatuated with fighter Julio Rios, and went backstage to meet him. When her apartment is found ransacked with blood stains, Clover must determine whether Julio—who fled and sought refuge in a church—is guilty or if someone else is responsible.
Broadway and Spanish Harlem in New York City, including a boxing arena, Lona's apartment, Julio's tenement building, a police station, and a church.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
