What happens
Detective Danny is called to a luxury apartment building where David Blaine lies dead from a gunshot wound on the fourth floor. While Miss Carol mourns her fiancé and insists he killed himself out of shame over a secret, the medical examiner raises a troubling question: if Blaine died in a rigid muscle spasm with his arms at right angles, how did the gun end up on the floor instead of in his hand?
A luxury apartment building on Broadway in New York City, primarily the detective's office and the building where David Blaine is found dead
Characters: Danny, Miss Carol, Dr. Sinsky, Richard Fallon, Mr. Blaine
Listen for: The medical examiner's crucial observation about the gun's location and the victim's body position, which casts doubt on the suicide theory
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
