What happens

Dan Holiday receives mysterious tickets to a luxury liner that turn out to be fake. Instead, he's taken by boat to a private yacht where he finds three other people—Stanley Waring, Philip Clayton, and Catherine Lansing—who were similarly summoned. A man named Mallory appears at dinner and reveals he has investigated each of them, but his true purpose remains unclear.
