What happens
Dan Holiday accepts an invitation to spend a relaxing weekend at his friend Ted Kenworth's inherited estate, Pharaoh's. Ted reveals that despite his uncle's reputation for wealth, he left behind only the house and no money. When Dan hears mysterious footsteps in the night and discovers signs of someone searching an upstairs room filled with childhood toys, he begins to suspect the missing fortune may still be hidden somewhere on the grounds.
Pharaoh's, a large mansion Ted inherited, located in the countryside about 200 miles from the city
Characters: Dan Holiday, Ted Kenworth, Susie, Helen Stark
Listen for: The mysterious sounds in the night and Dan's growing suspicion that something valuable is hidden in the old house despite Ted's insistence there's nothing to find
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
