What happens

When a desperate mother writes to Dan Holiday asking for help, he discovers her son Biff has confessed to robbing a store. But Biff's sudden change of heart from denying the crime to admitting it seems suspicious, and a mysterious thug's nighttime visit to Dan's apartment suggests someone powerful wants him off the case. Dan must uncover why the boy is willing to take the fall and expose the real criminals behind a deadly warehouse robbery.

The city, including a poor neighborhood, a police precinct, a jail, Dan's apartment, and an office building downtown.
