What happens

Dan Holiday receives a letter from a young boy named Marty Kennedy in Collinwood asking for help. Marty is worried that something has happened to Ted Whitman, an astronomy assistant at the Williams Observatory on a nearby mountain peak, because Ted hasn't come down for his weekly visit or signaled from the tower as usual. Holiday drives to the observatory to investigate and discovers that something sinister is indeed happening at the facility.

Collinwood and the Williams Observatory on a mountain peak

Characters: Dan Holiday, Marty Kennedy, Susie, Ted Whitman, Professor Irving

Listen for: A boy's mysterious letter, a tree house meeting, signals from a mountain observatory, and danger at the observatory facility.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
