What happens

Tom Walton, a dangerous criminal, has escaped police custody while being transported and is heading back to the city seeking revenge on Boston Blackie. When Walton captures Blackie, he demands a $10,000 ransom from Blackie's girlfriend Mary Wesley, threatening to kill him if the money isn't delivered.
