What happens

Insurance agent Emo Barnes enlists Boston Blackie to solve a baffling theft at the Winthrop Jewelry Company, where diamonds are disappearing almost daily from the workroom. Three diamond setters work in the shop, and all three are thoroughly searched at the end of each day, yet the diamonds vanish without a trace. Blackie goes undercover as a new employee to uncover how the thief is smuggling the gems out of the supposedly secure operation.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
