What happens

Psychiatrist Dr. Lester Allen calls police after finding his patient Francis Fielding murdered in her home, but Inspector Faraday finds no record of the call and suspects Allen of the crime. Boston Blackie investigates the strange circumstances surrounding the murder and discovers evidence that someone has tampered with the telephone lines at the Fielding house to intercept Allen's call to police.

A house at 1110 Dale Avenue and surrounding locations in the city, including Dr. Allen's office and police headquarters.
