What happens

Boston Blackie picks up a young woman named Florence Newton who claims to be heading to her father's farm, but when he arrives at the house, she vanishes from the car. The farmer reveals his daughter drowned in the creek three years ago. Now Blackie must testify at the trial of Butch Heathers for murder, but the defense attorney uses the ghost story to cast doubt on Blackie's credibility as a witness.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
