A city apartment building, primarily the home of James Grant, with scenes on a train and in the building superintendent's quarters.
Characters: Boston Blackie, Mary Wesley, Helen Martin, James Grant, Bill Grant, Inspector Faraday, Mr. Matthews
Listen for: A mysterious phonograph record that threatens Grant's life, the superintendent's involvement in an apartment robbery scheme, and Blackie's clever manipulation of Matthews to extract information about the murder.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
