The city police homicide department, Shorty's room, and a mysterious hideout where the kidnapped girl is being held.

Characters: Inspector Faraday, Shorty, Boston Blackie, Millicent Bromley, Professor, Tommy, Bill, Mr. Bromley

Listen for: The ingenious ransom scheme involving a specially trained dog that will carry the money through terrain impassable to man, and the tension between Inspector Faraday's determination to catch the kidnappers and Mr. Bromley's fear of endangering his daughter.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
