What happens

Boston Blackie boards an overnight ship to Westfield with his friend Mary, only to discover a dead woman named Charlotte Haken in their cabin. Inspector Faraday arrives to investigate, and Blackie becomes the prime suspect simply because he found the body. As the ship prepares to set sail, Blackie must uncover the real killer while dealing with Faraday's suspicions and a mystery surrounding why the body was found in a different cabin than where Mrs. Aiken was supposed to be staying.

An overnight passenger ship sailing from Westfield, in and around the ship's cabins and captain's quarters.

Characters: Boston Blackie, Mary, Inspector Faraday, Captain Randall, Charlotte Haken, Martha Vale, Bob

Listen for: Witty banter between Blackie and Mary about ship accommodations, the discovery of the body, and Blackie's clever observations that hint at the real mystery of why the victim was found in the wrong cabin.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
