What happens

Boston Blackie finds himself at a bank during a robbery where a man is shot and killed. The dead man, Gatling, was standing in front of a woman named Mary Wesley, and Blackie was standing behind Gatling. Inspector Faraday realizes that Mary Wesley might be able to identify the actual robber who was behind Gatling, putting her in danger when the criminals learn she could describe them.

A bank in the city, later the morgue and police station.

Characters: Boston Blackie, Inspector Faraday, Mary Wesley, Weaver, Gatling, Bart

Listen for: The clever setup where Blackie's position at the bank makes him a suspect, and the dangerous realization that Mary Wesley could identify the real robber.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
