What happens
Jackie Meers and his gang escape from prison using an ingenious method of communication that leaves authorities baffled—they coordinate their break without seeing, talking to, or signaling each other. Boston Blackie, who put Jackie away and fears the gang's revenge, becomes involved in the case when the gang kills a night watchman during a safe robbery. Blackie pieces together the puzzle of how they managed their escape.
A prison, the city, and various locations including a safe job site and police offices.
Characters: Boston Blackie, Jackie Meers, Joe, Warden Mills, Inspector Faraday, Bolo, Apollo, Anthony
Listen for: The clever explanation of how the gang coordinated their prison break without direct communication, and Blackie's deduction of their method.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
