Boston, including a candy shop near a quarry and Small's apartment building, with scenes at police headquarters and a work quarry.
Characters: Boston Blackie, Charlotte, Inspector Faraday, Detective Waterman, Jack Small (alias Bill Bigelow), Shorty, Eddie Carter, Barbara
Listen for: The ironic twist where the criminal Boston Blackie seeks to collect a debt just as his quarry is killed before he can reach him; the suspicious timing of Small's death during a quarry blast.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
