What happens
Boston Blackie is drawn into a fur theft racket when he helps Janet Corning, believing her to be the niece of his friend Charlie Kingston, by recommending her to exclusive fur stores. Janet and her partner Harry Barlow use Blackie's endorsement to gain access to expensive furs, which Barlow then steals. When Inspector Faraday discovers a stolen mink coat hidden in Blackie's friend Mary Wesley's apartment, Blackie locks both the inspector and Mary in closets to protect Janet's identity and learns the full extent of the scheme.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
