Blackie goes undercover at the mission to expose the criminals running the scheme.

A city with a downtown mission, newspaper offices, apartment buildings, and the waterfront

Characters: Boston Blackie, Mary Wesley, Inspector Faraday, Lester Hopkins, Sister Delores, Brother Harry, Gunther Stevens, Bobo

Listen for: A phony accident racket where down-and-out people are recruited to fall in front of cars for insurance fraud; Blackie's clever use of a dummy to fool the criminals into revealing themselves

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
