What happens

Barry Craig is hired by Killer Best, a former boxer turned society man, after Best is poisoned at the Cabana Adora nightclub. Though Best survives the poisoning, someone clearly wanted him dead. Craig must investigate the events surrounding the attempted murder and identify which of Best's many enemies—ex-lovers, jilted husbands, or business rivals—tried to kill him.
