What happens

Barry Craig, a confidential investigator, is hired by Doreen Dimple, a retired show business performer, to walk her dog Caesar around the neighborhood. The catch is that someone has been shooting at the dog during recent walks, and Doreen wants Craig to find out who is trying to kill her pet and why.

New York City, primarily Doreen's apartment building on East 74th Street and the surrounding streets; also Craig's office.

Characters: Barry Craig, Doreen Dimple, Caesar the dog, Jake, Corky

Listen for: The mystery of who is shooting at Caesar and whether the dog or Doreen is the real target; Craig's witty observations about his new job as a dog walker and the dangers that come with it.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
