For your listening enjoyment, John Lund has... Johnny Dollar. Bob Creole, Johnny. Try to be limited. Oh, hi, Bob. All right, Bob. Provided I can find it on the map.

If I cut in for a few moments, fellas, I hope it won't start an argument. Sometimes out of 10, you just bet someone that the Treasury Department has its own navy, that the United States could assist the international ice patrol in the North Atlantic.

It operates lighthouses, lightship, beacons, and other aids to navigation, and removes wrecks and other floating dangers. In addition, the Coast Guard enforces laws and regulations relating to custody, neutrality, immigration, and wartime jobs to the United States Navy, our military service.

Based under the Treasury Department, Coast Guard is a mighty bulwark in the protection and defense. Spencer Kahn submitted by special investigator Johnny Dotto to Home Office Tri State Assurance Company limited Hartford, Connecticut.

The following is an accounting of expenditures during my investigation of the Piney Corners matters. The Spencer Kahn, item one, $48.40, transportation to Piney Corners. A town of 1,200 people, one in, one restaurant, one general store, and one comfortable.

A lantern jot man of middle-aids named Jake Finley. I lived here all my life, Mr. Dollar. First murder we ever had. Well, I didn't know just how to go about dealing with it. Well, maybe between us we can come up with something.

I hope so. Even if I can give you in the way of fact, though, clues, I guess you call them. The woman's dead, not about it. Could have been next and even. What do you mean, access?

Hunters in the city come through your legs, shoot at anything that moves. One of them might have done it on intent, so then got carried and run. A city hunter with an old-fashioned squirrel rifle?

…

I imagine that's when you started murder, Mr. Dollar? Those hooks over the mantle have been there a long time. Where's the rifle that hung there before you bought this one from Tom Smith? The neighbors will remember.

Put down this final total. We had a good year last year. I doubt it's gonna be that good this year. No regrets, Mr. Dollar. You like farming. You take risks on the guns buried out behind it.

Expense account out of $67.20. Incinettles and transportation back to Hartford. Expense account total $120.70. Yours truly Johnny Dollar.
