Heading west from their new headquarters at Santa Fe, United States Marshal Wild Bill Hickok and his big deputy jingles rode into the bleak Arizona Flatland. Ahead of them stretched a trail of adventure, packed with thundering hooves and blazing guns, waiting for their discovery of death on the desert.

Bill, I sure hope we got enough water in our cantines to get us across this desert. There's enough jingles if we take it easy. I sure hate to be caught out here without water. I get all choked up just thinking about it.
