The Ten Minute Mayor

Phil Hickard! Hold onto your hats, cause here comes another rootin' tootin' Wild Bill Hickard adventure.

Transcribed in Hollywood and starring Guy Madison as Wild Bill and Andy Devine as his pal Jingle. You'll hear the exciting story, the ten minute mayor in just one minute. The town of Brimful was a powder keg with a short pews the day United States Marshal Wild Bill Hickard and Jingle landed there.

Along the main street men hide each other in deadly silence and kept their hands close to their holsters. Then a single gunshot lit the pews and the powder keg blew up in wild Bill's face with a battle royal over the death of the ten-minute mayor.

Bill, I sure don't like the looks of these gents around this. I feel like an accident doing somewhere that happened. Why, I jingled the new mayor's going to speak. Yes, sir. I want to thank you for electing me, Mayor Brimple.

That is, I want to thank the ones that voted to do right party ticket. We owe that little bunch of men on the other side of the crowd. Ain't exactly in favor of the mayor.

I heard those fools. And I know who's doing it. Well, I got something to say to you, John Getson. You and Mel Sutter, too. Now, then you've got the shameings anything to ask, Mayor. Are you better listen? You're on your way out.

You and Stutter and the whole Gatson gang. You've had your way with this town too long. Yeah? Who's gonna run us out? You up pinhead. For the help of the good citizen to this town?

I am. I've been mayor of Brimford 10 minutes now. And before I'm through, you'll see. Bill, this could lead to trouble. Yeah, I think let's get over there. Come on. You're going right now, Mayor. You're 10 minutes.
