The Garrulous Gal

Being a private investigator means two things. You can be sure you'll run into trouble, and you can never be sure you'll get out of it. Not much you can do about it, I guess, except, like Julie always says.

A man chases a girl, until she catches him. There's a lot of truth in that. Though the gals of course don't agree. Julie, my maid of all work, will argue about it, or she's blue in her pretty face.

But then, all I have to do is to look into my files and bring out the dossier on the case of the Garlas Gowl. And brother, there's all the proof you need. The Garlas Gowlan question was one Cora Donovan.
