(xx) Smelly Clark's Big Date

Well sir, it's about ten o'clock in the evening as we enter the small house halfway up in the next block now And in the living room we find Mr. and Mrs. Victor Gook Mr. Victor Gook sits needs easy chair under the floral amp reading the kitchenware dealers quarterly while Mrs. Victor Gook occupies a corner of the Davenport and darin socks

But now she looks up and speaks listen What's your watch day? Look and see what time it is Crocodone me. I guess so. Something deep in it. That's why I could go for a while and stop for a while.

It says 9.20 now. It's seven minutes past ten. Think I'll try it up to bed pretty soon. We will myself. That screwdriver is still out in the pantry. What you want with it? Thought I'd locate the cover in the crock. No sir. But you touch that clock. What is broken?

Yeah, but I don't want it any broker. That's clock costs lots of money I can unscrew the back panel and see if the spring is off-rating as it should And then I can remember the last time you fooled with a clock? No, when my kitchen alarm went on the war path And you took it all apart to fix it seems to me

I'll find in both and washers around Found a spring do jigger underneath a dining room cop it's out of the day a clock isn't much goodness It keeps time. You know Some head rush take it downtown Saturday or sometime.

Guess this is him now. You sir? Yeah. Yes sir, me for bed. I've had a good big day of it. Cleaning in the morning and shopping in the afternoon. It's enough to wear out Bill Dempsey.
