I'd like to remind you of our contest for a name for our band. As announced on previous broadcasts, we want a name descriptive and colorful for the group of great jazz players who week after week have been bringing you authentic improvised New Orleans Jazz.

you authentic improvised New Orleans jazz. Send in as many suggestions as you wish. Be sure to include your name and address on the same sheet as your entry. All entries must be postmarked on or before July 15th. They become the property of the program and the judges decision as final.

Three prizes will be awarded consisting of choice albums of jazz records. So write in your ideas. That is not names for the program, remember, but for the band itself. One of you will be the winner.
