Young Henry Carter of the Third and his widowed mother live with Henry's paternal grandfather. Grandfather Carter, at his immensely wealthy, and lives on a vast estate in the suburbs. Young Henry after graduation seemed to follow in the footsteps of his late father.

He's a weak thought and quite the playboy of the city, gambling and drinking. So grandfather, though inclined to be generous, finds it necessary to cut down on Henry to Lowen. But Grandfather, I can't get along now. I can hardly make ends meet. But it's embarrassing.

Embarrassing. Oh, here, now all you've done is cared about all night and drinking gamble. Well, I've paid all the debt I'm going to. Well, what can I do $100? When I was your age, I got along on $10.
