But there are things far worse than cemeteries. Such things as dark forbidding swamps, swamps stretching for hundreds of miles and inhabited by snakes and mosquitoes and alligators as in the story I want to tell you tonight. Story I call death in the Everglades. My story begins in the vast shadowy wastes of the Florida Everglades.

A small dugout glides through the dark swamp water pulled along by a well-eaten The guy's passengers, Gerald Drake and his wife Kitty, sit nervously in the center of the dugout, subdued by their strange and uncanny surroundings.

Gerald, how much further do we have to go on? It's been two hours now since we left the mainland. I'll see. God, how much further is it to my uncle's home? It is much further. Get this more old piece.
