We take you now by transcription behind the scenes of a police headquarters in a great American city. Or a pass before us, the innocent, the vagrant, the thief, the murderer. This is the line up.

Go ahead, Kenneth. Go ahead. Isn't this close enough?

We're not quite a chair right now. Go ahead. You'll have to be afraid. Lights on them, not you. They can't see you. All right, sit down, Karen. Yes, sir. May I have your attention, please?

You people out there and you're the son of the wire in the audience room. May I have your attention, sir? Thank you. My name is Greg. Sergeant Matt Grab. I'll explain the line up to you.

Each of the suspects you will see will be numbered. I'll call out for number, then they'll be in charge. If you have any questions or identifications, please remember the number assigned to the president, as I call his name.

At the end of each line when I ask for questions or identifications, call out the number. If you're sure not to show the suspect, have him help. The officers who took your name will assist you there seated among you.

The questions I ask these suspects are merely to get a natural donor voice, so do not pay too much attention to their answers as they open line. Bring on the line. All right, boys, come out and move it along.

Snap it up now. We'll wait this morning. Go to the end of the stage, turn and face front with your hands to your side. Well, come on, let's hurry, boy. He's not there, sir. You sure, Kenneth?

I would answer my questions. You got to be sure. I told you, sir, he was wearing a red check shirt. I am sure he's not here. All right. All right, Kenneth. I'm finally waiting for the next line.
