But Green Hornet He hunts the biggest of all game public enemies who try to destroy our America With his faithful Filipino valid Cato Britt Reid daring young publisher matches wits with racketeers and saboteurs
Risking his life that criminals and enemy spies will feel the weight of the law by the sting of the Green Hornet Ride with Rick Reed in the thrilling adventure, Lames of Wrath. The Green Hornet strikes again.
Before our story, here's an important message. You know that half of all the nation's Pullman cars and one out of every three coaches are in constant military service. And here's another important fact. Despite a threefold increase in passenger mileage since the start of the war, the railroads have less equipment today than they had at the beginning of the First World War.
Today, railroads are warroads. Civilians must forego all travel that's not absolutely necessary. This includes trips to other cities to visit friends, weekend trips home, sightseeing and shopping trips, trips to the races and other amusements, and particularly trips over the Labor Day weekend.
Remember, curtailed civilian travel is the only answer to the transportation problem. Pleasure and nonessential trips must wait. And now, the Green Hornet. It was great excitement along the waterfront. Ed Loughray, reporter for the Daily Center,
couldn't suppress the excitement in his voice as he phoned the story to his paper from a nearby telephone. Yeah, that's right. The warehouse on Pier 36 is blazing like the devil. Yeah, they got about the whole fire department down here fighting it.
Well, the warehouse is full of war material for shipping abroad. Well, what's that? No, nobody knows how it started. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Stick around and call him later. So long. The next morning, Britt Reed, young man about town and publisher of the Daily Sentinel, was in his office talking to Lowry.
