In Erie County, New York, there's a 1,500-acre strawberry crop that makes a substantial contribution to the war food needs. This year, it looked as though the crop would be lost because of a serious labor shortage, but a general appeal went out to the people for extra help, and the crop was saved.

Folks, this is just one example of how America's men and women and boys and girls are pitching in to help the farmers. They need four million extra workers, and these workers will be paid prevailing wages for the amount and type of work they do.
