56-xx-xx Judge Returns From Europe (AFRTS 544)

Willard Waterman has the Great Gilder Sleece. Week at this time brings you a new adventure of the Great Gilder Slee, written by Virginia Safford Lin. Are you out here in the kitchen? Did you want some Mr. Gilder Sleece?

Yes, I did. So did I, but I didn't get the first base. Well, what did you want, Elira? Cookies, what do you want? No, no, I mean, Verdi, I wanted to ask you something. Or rather, I want to suggest, or see if you'd mind.

Oh, Mr. Gillis, leave. If you keep beating around that bush, you'll have all the leaves off it. Well, I hesitated because of the mean extra work for you. But I have to get dinner for all of us anyway.

Oh, but this would be fancier than we usually... Bertie? How did you know what I wanted to ask you? Because I was just going to suggest it. What are you two doing, communicating by Ouija Bournes?

And we must be. I was going to ask you to be okay to invite Judge Hooker to dinner. And I was just going to suggest it. How can you invite him when he's clear over in Europe?

He'll be back this week. Uh oh, Dorbell. What's up, buddy? Watch my part. Why? What's it going to do? Not going to burn, that's for sure. You know, I'll be kind of glad to see Judge Hooker.

I really miss the old girl. Oh sure, he's a swell guy. Yeah, he's real nice. Lots of times. You know, it might be a good thing for me to go to Europe. It'd be very educational for me.

Yeah, almost anything can be very educational for you. Yeah. Tell the grandmister Gillis Lee. I hope it's not bad news. Yeah, I hope not too. Thank you, Bertie. Judge Hooker landed back in New York this morning, he's flying home.
