Canine Courage

My first dog was just a homeless stray. I adopted when I was a kid in Chillicothe, Ohio. Since that time I've had many dogs, some pedagreed, some mongru, and I loved every one of them.

I'd like to tell you a story about one dog in particular, a dog whose courage once saved my life. It was just a raw bone pop of six months when Harriet and I first saw him at the canals of a friend who lived near our winter quarters.
