jungle. All of this is part of the Clyde Beatty story. Here is an absorbing tale called For Children Only. Mercy Hospital devoted to crippled children stands on a hill at the center of one of the larger New England industrial cities. It is morning and Clyde and Harriet Beatty arrived here two hours ago to pay a surprise call on Alice Richards, daughter of one of their performers.

Now they're ready to leave, but have saved a second surprise till last. We do have to go now, Alice, but I think I'd have something to tell you first. What isn't Mr. Beatty? Well, we've done some re-roving in the circus lately, Alice.

And next month we're showing here. You are. Oh, that would be wonderful. And I'll be able to see Mother and Dad. You'll probably see them before then. But we have a surprise for you. We'll probably be here three days.

And on the afternoon of one of those days, we'll have all the children from the hospital at the circus as our guest. Oh, that will be wonderful, Mr. Beatty. They'll love it. Have you arranged it already?
