In spite of never ending battle for truth and justice, this guy is just Clark Kent, mild-mannered reporter for the Daily Planet newspaper. When we last saw Kent, he had recovered Professor Thorpe's two-million-dollar gold treasure from Pideskobar, A half-breed death burrado, and at the same time as Superman, had rescued young Gimme Olsen, daily, final copy boy, from death in an earthquake-shattered cave.

The story continues today, Professor Thorpe shipped the Juanita, the being made ready for a trip back to the United States. While waiting for food and water to be loaded aboard, Clark Kent and Gimme Olsen are stolen along the sandy shore of Manau Harbor, and gage in a serious conversation.
