sent to search for Alonzo Craig, famous explorer who has been missing for over three years. Clark Kent is in the wilds of Elsmere land in the far north, with Professor Peters and Captain Mike Walter navigator.

Hearing that Craig has been captured by Indians, I have penetrated to the sunken temple of the Cunalaka, far down in the ice beneath the valley of the cliff. Where the witch doctor who never dies, keeps watch over the mysterious treasure of the tribe.

Oh, native rituals, dances, something that's all I imagine, possibly in connection with the treasure. I wonder if Ray Martin was right. There really is any treasure. Find the lungs of Craig, Kent. Find out how he was turned from a man in the time of life into the witch-doctor of the Koonalaka.
