The White Plague Part 04

Superman who can leap tall buildings of a single bow, grace a speeding bullet to its target, then steal in his bare hands, and who disguised as Clark Kent, mild-mannered reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper, fights and never ending battles for truth and justice.

And now to our story. Things have taken a serious turn at the bottom of the logging camp deep in the North Wood, where Clark Kent and young Jimmy Olsen are involved in a baffling mystery.

Not only have four lumberjacks met death at unknown hands, but the legend of the white plague, said to be responsible for the death, now seems to be seeking vengeance from Kent and Jimmy. But we last saw them, they were driving a horse-drawn sled back to the camp.

A sled carrying the lifeless body of a lumberjack, who it doesn't be and mysteriously collapsed. Without warning, a rifle began blazing at them from the woods and joining the trail. Shouting to Jimmy to keep low, Kent sent the horse into a gallop, as steel, decadent bullets whirring about his head.

Stay down Jimmy. Whoever's handling that rifle means business. Get up boy. Be careful, Jack. I can't shoot them heads. Don't worry about me. Stop chewing. have a deep blow and you get around this bend.

That's okay, I guess we can pull up. Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa. There it is. Of course, Cole. Who do you think it was Mr. Can? I don't know Jimmy. But if they think we're gonna take this line down, they're crazy.
