Last Of The Clipper Ships Part 15

Presenting the transcription feature, Superman! Superman! Superman! Superman! Superman! Superman! Superman! Superman! And now Superman! Strange visitor from the planet Krypton, who came to earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men, and who disguised as far-canned star reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper, fights a never-ending battle against crime and injustice.

A heavy-farge shrouds the Clara M, last of the old clipper ships, as she slips silently southward toward Panama with Clark Kent and young Jimmy Olsen aboard. Mystery two surrounds the Clara M, for a strange thing has happened.

In our last episode we heard how Jimmy Olsen discovered the Whistler to be Pug Flanagan, a stowaway. Pug, a boy of Jimmy's own age, had hidden himself in a secret compartment adjoining Jimmy's cabin. He explained that having overheard the legend of the phantom whistler who haunted the ship, he had impersonated the whistler in order to steal food from the galley.

But no sooner had the confession left his lips, than a weird seam took place in the folkstill of the creeping ship. The oil lamps swinging from the ceiling through a yellow glow over the seamed and wrinkled faces of the crew, as all eyes were fixed intently on pug.

Okay, Teddi, I'm not the real whistler at all. What do you mean you're not the real whistler? Well, I was just... that's what I mean. Oh, macro. There's another Whistler. No, she... that's... See, Whistler.

Now, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Something's wrong here, eh? It's kid just after saying he was the one with done the Whistler. I said I was just making believe I was the Whistler. The first night out, I heard him.
