Presenting the transcription feature, Superman! God! The first, it's a plane, it's Superman! Yes, it's Superman! Strange visitor from the planet Krypton, who came to earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men.
Superman, who can leap tall buildings to the single bound, race a speeding bullet to its targets, then steal in his bare hands, and who disguise this Clark Kent, and mild-mannered reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper fights a never-ending battle for truth and justice.
And now to our story. Seeking an antidote for the stupefying potion given the members of the Metropolis football team, Clark Kent has come to the plantation settlement of Purnambuco, deep in the Central American jungles.
The antidote of brown crystalline substance is in the possession of the chief of a tribe of savage headhunting Nahuan Indians. Kent, after talking with John Carter, manager of the plantation, made arrangements for a local white derelict known as Pangal Pete to lead him to the Narwan tribe.
But Pete, willing to turn a dishonest deal, has learned that the brown crystals are worth millions of dollars for Kent and plans not to let him gain possession of them without exacting heavy tribute. Carter and Kent have just left Pangal Pete's shack, and are seated on the screen for the manager's bungalow.
The orange glow of cottage cigarette, the only break in the impenetrable darkness. Some off in the distance can be heard the rhythmic beat of Tom Tom. Listen. Do those Tom Tom's continue all through the night, Mr. Carter?
Yes. Night and day, that's been going on for almost a week. Angle Pete said they were now on drums. Some sort of ceremony. No, he was probably lying. Told us this afternoon that the now on tribe had moved on.
