Dr.Roebling And The Voice Machine Part 15

Presenting the transcription feature? Superman! God! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Superman! Yes, it's Superman! Strange visitor from the planet Krypton, who came to earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men.

Superman, who can leap tall buildings to the single bound, graces feeding bullet to its targets, sends steel in his bare hands, and who disguise this Clark Kent, mild-mannered reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper, fights a never-ending battle for truth and justice.

And now to our story. When we last saw Clark Kent, he and Edith the Perry White were in the latter's office at the Daily Planet, trying to contact a theatrical costumer in order to hire a prison guard's uniform.

Knowing that Henry Benson, next city treasurer, being held for a million dollar shortage just to be transferred from the city jail to the state prison, and knowing also that Duke Bernard and his gang have orders to weigh Lay Benson and get rid of him to keep him from talking, Kent is planning to present himself as the jail as a state prison guard and ride in the car carrying Benson.

But what Kent doesn't know is that the hour of Benson's departure has been changed from nine to eight. It is now eight-thirty, and while Kent and his hired guard uniform is on his way to the jail, Renard and his henchman Curly have taken over the drawbridge spanning the Red River, a bridge over which the sheriff's car carrying Henry Benson must pass.

Bernard plans to open the drawer as the car approaches and send it hurtling down into the deep-tide water below. Listen. Alright, Curly. Let's test these levers just to make sure we know how to run it.
